Basic information about GDPR

This privacy notice informs you – based on the regulations in the “General Data Protection Regulation” (GDPR) – about what personal data we process, why and on what (legal) basis. It furthermore provides details on how to get in touch with us to exercise your rights as a data subject.

What personal data is processed by us

We process the data provided by you during registration, plus your (company’s) IP address during double-opt in, log-in and opening of tenders from the login-area. In case you provide us with additional data later during our business relationship, e.g. a mobile phone number, we also process such information. 

We do NOT collect any special categories of personal data.

For what purposes do we collect certain data

Our service is a Business-to-Business information service. We can only fulfil our service in the expected quality when being able to contact you – both via phone and e-mail – to discuss what tenders you are interested in. 

IP-addresses are collected for technical and legal reasons only.

The legal basis for processing your personal data

  • Contractual need: we can only deliver our service when being able to contact you

  • Legal Obligation: we collect the IP-address of the double-opt-in to be able to prove that a certain person has agreed on our terms and privacy policy.

Our legitimate interest 

  • Protecting our business model: we can only offer a free trial when making sure that the same person or company doesn’t register again and again for a free trial. We therefore have to save data also after expiration of the free trial.During and shortly after trial, we will contact you to discuss if or how your company wants to use our services in the future.

  • Complying with our terms / fair use: the tender information we provide is intended for the use of our customers to bid for tenders in their business sector. Downloading further data including tender documentation, with the intention to re-sell this information, is not permitted. Technical tools (e.g. robots) to grab data are prohibited because they may harm performance of our platform.

Voluntary consent

By giving us voluntary consent to receive news or offers about our tender services, you allow us to send you e-mails or call you if we have new services or usage ideas that we believe are helpful for your company when bidding for tenders. We may also send you promotional offers for our services. We will not send you messages unrelated to public tenders.

You can always withdraw your consent by either logging into your account and deselecting the checkbox for the consent, by sending us an email to office@tender-service.com or by clicking the unsubscribe-link that is placed in any of our emails related to the consent you gave.

Please note: this does not apply to the result emails with new tenders that we send you as part of our contractual obligation. If you want to stop your free trial, or want to cancel your paid subscription, please inform us at office@tender-service.com.

Recipients of data / transfer to third countries

We do not sell our rent your personal data to third parties. We only share personal data with data processors working on our behalf, i.e. they fulfil services needed for our own operations (in the fields of accounting, marketing services, and operating our website). With all of them we have contractual relationship that covers all needed protection measurements to keep your personal data safe.

We don’t transfer any personal data to third countries. For our privacy policy related to Google Analytics, please find an extra chapter below.

Google Analytics / Cookies

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be pre-shortened by Google within member states of the European Union and in other signatory states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide other services relating to website activity and Internet usage. The IP address provided by Google Analytics as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by configuring your browser software accordingly; However, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. We use the anonymise-IP-tag for Google Analytics which means that Google will not receive your full IP-address, making it impossible to identify you or to use detailed geo-targeting. Furthermore, we don’t use remarketing, so you will not receive ads from us based on your browsing history.

Microsoft Clarity / Cookies

We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising. Your rights

You have the following rights concerning the personal data processed by us:

  • Right to being informed what personal data we process(ed) about you, how long it will be stored and what is the purpose

  • Right to rectification

  • Right to erasure, unless limited by contractual needs, legal reasons or legitimate interest (see above)

  • Right to restriction of processing

  • Right to data portability
